Job Responsibilities

As a resident in radiology, you will work under supervision with common tasks. This includes diagnostic ultrasounds, fluoroscopy, and basic interventions. You will also have the opportunity to review, interpret, and respond to examinations within various radiological methods. If the position is extended, on-call duties and rounds will also be included.

Your role will also involve responsibility for your own theoretical education and active participation in the clinic's teaching and development work, providing you with a unique opportunity to grow and develop in your profession.

About the Workplace

The Radiology Department is a central part of Region Västmanland, and we offer a modern workplace with a closely-knit team. The clinic consists of approximately 120 employees, of which 30 are doctors, including 10 residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician or are about to finish your AT/BT. You have good knowledge of Swedish (C1 level), and it is an advantage if you have experience from the Swedish healthcare system. Previous experience in radiology, technical skills, or experience in supervision and teaching is also meritorious.

You are a confident and stable person with good self-awareness. You collaborate well with others but also have the ability to work independently, plan, and structure your work effectively. We would like to see that you have leadership skills and good communication skills, both in groups and individually.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, full-time, Västerås.

Probationary employment may be applied.

Start date according to agreement.
